Along the stretch of Roxas Boulevard is Manila Baywalk, a two-kilometer seaside promenade overlooking Manila Bay, spanning the historic Rizal Park to the Manila Yacht Club and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The promenade is a public place so it’s free to watch Manila’s sunset and bring in your own food and refreshments as you wait relax while waiting for nightfall; in fact this is one of the best among this list to see the sunset from. Local performers and artists frequent the area so expect some free performances here.
Penthouse by the Bay
Right at the top of the historic Rizal Park Hotel and real close to Manila Bay is Penthouse by the Bay. This gatsby era-inspired bar-lounge just oozes with elegant feels from the jazz age, and one couldn’t help but feel like a wealthy businessperson with that magnificent view of this great city and the golden sunset, including all the familiar sights of the Rizal Monument, the historic Manila Hotel, Manila Ocean Park, the yachts at the bay, and the busy seaport of Manila.
When it’s not yet that crazy party place come nighttime, Cove Manila’s sunset lounge also hosts “Sunset Sessions” daily where you can just chillax and have a drink while witnessing all that golden glory that is the Manila Bay sunset, all framed by the club’s tall dome. The sunset lounge is all indoors so you get to watch the sunset in the air-conditioned comfort of Cove Manila. There is no door charge and discounts are offered during the Sunset Sessions, and they also have happy hour (5-8PM) where you can buy-1-get-1 on their cocktails (regular price is at P400).

Brasserie on 3 is Conrad Manila’s buffet restaurant serving an international array of dishes as well as a tasting menu. What’s special about this dining destination is its awesome, panoramic view of the Manila Bay; Brasserie on 3 is a great way to eat your heart out while having a front-seat look at the great Manila Bay.
White Moon Bar
Whitemoon Bar is a restobar-lounge inside Manila Ocean Park’s Hotel H2O. The lounge sits directly in front of and over Manila Bay so you get a front-row seat to Manila Bay’s spectacular view and sunset as you lounge al fresco in the balcony. Food and drink options are great, too, so it might be wise to come here hungry, especially after coming from a whole day of touring old Manila.
From here you can see Manila Bay from a different vantage point – aside from an angled view of Manila Bay, from the Harbour Square you will also directly see the stretch of Manila Baywalk, the buildings lining Roxas Boulevard, and the many yachts docked at the Manila Yacht Club.
